About

Minecraft Social Experiments (MSE) is a gaming production network and community hub that hosts high-stakes, large-scale event servers to push human psychology to its absolute limits inside Minecraft.

Our mission is to produce events that strip away conventional gameplay to expose raw human behavior. We believe that a digital sandbox free from real-world consequences is the only environment where true, unmasked human morality can be fully observed.

Design Philosophy

Player Freedom

Our priority when designing events is guaranteeing total freedom by encouraging individual players to make their own decisions. We believe players should be free to do whatever they want. In exchange, we ask our players to faithfully engage in the world we've built for them.

Death is Final

Death is what gives our events stakes. Outside of glitches, we have never revived a player and never will, no matter how important they've been to the story.

Equal Opportunity

We don't give preferential treatment to any participant. Every player is a source of potential, and we don't favor players who have done exceptionally well in past experiments. Whether you're a YouTuber with 100,000 subscribers or playing for the first time, your odds of winning or losing are exactly the same.

Having Fun

At the end of the day, we know Minecraft is just a video game. We want players to have fun and not take themselves too seriously. The players who do best in our events are the ones who enjoy themselves and aren't trying too hard to grab the spotlight.
